2023-24 Budget and MTFS 23-24 to 27-28

Every year, the Council sets its general fund revenue budget. The annual budget must balance the money we spend with the money we are expecting to receive. The consultation budget for general fund revenue that was presented to Cabinet on 7 December 2022 was balanced, and this was achieved through a combination of additional income and savings alongside a requirement for some services to carefully manage their spending pressures, particularly with regard to inflation and managing demand.
