Mayfield Community Hall and Medical Centre

We’re pleased to share that Wealden councillors have voted in favour of a new community hall and medical centre to be built in Mayfield. This marks an exciting step forward for the area, bringing with it improved facilities and a stronger foundation for the future.

The project includes:

• A modern community hall
• A new health centre
• Accessible parking
• Beautiful landscaping that fits with the High Weald’s natural charm

As part of this redevelopment, the existing community hall will be removed to make space for a brand-new, modern facility that better meets the needs of residents now and in the future.

Since our initial approval in 2022, we’ve adjusted the plan to stay within budget without losing quality or community value. Our goal is to create a building that supports both health and community spirit. This new facility will be a key part of local life, offering essential healthcare services and space for social gatherings, meetings, and events.

We’re proud to partner with Mayfield & Five Ashes Parish Council on this project. Pending full council final approval, construction is set to begin this summer. We look forward to seeing this vision come to life and the positive impact it will have for generations to come.
