Wealden District Council is proposing to sell a small piece of land as it is no longer needed for the original purpose, which was recreational use.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of an Open Space in the district of Wealden, East Sussex.
Dated: 29th March, 2024.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123(2A) of the above mentioned Act by Wealden District Council the owner of the parcel of land described below. The intended disposal will be by way of sale as the public open space is not needed for recreational purposes.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND
The land is located adjacent to 4 Millfield, Ninfield. For identification purposes is edged red on the plan.
A hard copy plan of the land is available for inspection at Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AX.
Any objections or representations with respect to the disposal may be sent by post to Housing Income Utilities Officer, Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AX or emailed to rents@wealden.gov.uk by no later than 12th April 2024.
