This April marked the successful launch event of the Climate and Nature Network in Wealden, bringing together a diverse and passionate group of local organisations, town and parish councils, and community groups committed to environmental action.
The event was organised in collaboration with Community Action, the Wealden Food Partnership and Wealden District Council’s Climate Change Team and attracted over 85 delegates from across the district and beyond.Theyrepresented a broad range of sectors, reflecting the growing interest and urgency in addressing climate change and supporting nature recovery at a local level.
Following the launch event on 16th April, Wealden District Council, Community Action and the Wealden Food Partnership are exploring options of hosting a follow up event. Please check back for updates to this network!
