Vicarage Field Public Realm Improvements Survey

Vicarage Field is an important part of Hailsham town centre, providing shops, services, public space, and key pedestrian connections through the town.

Wealden District Council aim to improve the appearance, functionality, and overall quality of Vicarage Field through a coordinated programme of building improvements and public realm enhancements.

The project is not redeveloping the area or changing the character of Hailsham. Instead, we aim to build on what already works well, better connect to the heritage of the area, and explore how the public spaces could better support everyday use of the town centre.
